Same idea, different scale
"Home lift" usually refers to compact, lower-capacity lifts built specifically for independent houses and villas — see our Home Lifts page. "Residential elevator" is sometimes used more broadly to include passenger lifts in apartment buildings too, which is really our Passenger Lifts category.
Why the terminology gets confusing
Different manufacturers and markets use these terms inconsistently. What actually matters for choosing the right one is your building type, floors served, and expected usage — not which term a brochure uses.
How to move forward
Rather than searching for the "correct" term, describe your building and requirement to us directly — we'll match it to the right product regardless of what it's called elsewhere.
