What determines the price
A home lift's cost depends on its capacity (how many people or how much weight it needs to carry), the number of floors it serves, the lift technology (hydraulic vs MRL), cabin size and finish, door type, and how much civil or structural work your building needs to accommodate it.
Why two quotes for "the same lift" can differ
A retrofit into an existing staircase void usually costs less structural work than building a new shaft from scratch. Site conditions — not just the lift model — often explain the biggest swings in price between quotes.
Getting an accurate number
