MRL lifts
Machine-Room-Less lifts fit the drive system into the shaft itself, which also removes the need for a separate machine room, and can serve more floors than a typical hydraulic setup. See our MRL Lifts page.
How to decide
The main factors are floors served and available space. For a 2–4 floor independent home, hydraulic is often simpler; for taller buildings or apartments, MRL is usually the better fit. A site visit will confirm which suits your specific building.
